Equipment hire

The Ski Xpérience shop offers the ” Ski Mojo ” for hire. This is an exoskeleton that reduces joint pain when skiing. It also increases performance and pleasure tenfold by reducing fatigue.

Accommodation

Some accommodation providers have flats accessible to people with reduced mobility.

In Valmorel

The Anitéa***** and La Grange aux fées**** residences have lifts and flats with walk-in showers accessible to all.

Maeva has 4 PRM-accessible flats in the Athamante and Valériane residences (ground floor, easy access, lift to car parks). Please note that the flats have baths, not showers.

Club Med has a lift and accessible rooms.

In Doucy

Miléade and Vacancéole have accessible rooms for people with reduced mobility (located on the ground floor, ramp to reception, accessible shower, lift).

The villages

The architecture and layout of our villages are not ideal for people with reduced mobility.

The pedestrianised street in the village of Valmorel is covered in snow in winter, as are the square and alleyways in Doucy. This makes it difficult for people with reduced mobility to get around. Especially as the snow can sometimes be very soft and uneven.

Most restaurants and bars have narrow entrance doors and basement toilets accessible only by stairs.

Stairs are present almost everywhere to access the various shops.

Toilets

There are several toilets accessible to people with reduced mobility in the ski area and in the resort:

  • At the top of the Planchamp cable car (ski area)
  • At the start of the Pierrafort cable car (road side)
  • At the top of Rue du Bourg, at the foot of the Planchamp cable car
