Backing onto the Beaufortain mountain range, the Nâves valley (45mn drive from Valmorel or Doucy) is one of those few havens of peace and tranquillity that still remain in the heart of the Alps. Here, mountain pastures, forests, streams and the sound of nature all shape the landscape and create the atmosphere.
The Nordic site, labelled Nordic France, is open from 7 December, 2024 to March 30, 2025 and offers 42km of cross-country ski trails (classic and skating) groomed every day and secured.
The Bozon slope gives access to the Carrolet loop (2085m altitude) which allows you to ski on the highest slope in Savoie, with a magnificent panorama of the Vanoise, Lauzière and Beaufortain mountain ranges.
The start of the slopes is 4 km upstream from the village of Grand Nâves, at the Plateau du Tovet, where you will find all the necessary facilities: heated non-sack room, sofas, toilets, drinking water, lockers, picnic tables, deckchairs, lockers.
Access by free shuttle bus at weekends and during French school holidays
