A half-day mid-mountain route, without technical difficulty, which allows you to enter the particular environment of a coniferous forest.
This loop can be done by occasional walkers as well as active families, but can be quite difficult for novice walkers during the ascent to Doucy station which turns out to be quite steep. The start is at Doucy station, behind the Cap Vacances building.
Hikers will complete the entire loop in the Great Forest of Doucy with sometimes some views of the Lauzière massif.
The first kilometer is relatively flat, with a passage near the skate park and the multisports ground. Then the path begins a fairly significant descent to Crétet (1120m).
From there, you will take the Crozat forest road for 2.5 km to the point on the 992m side before turning on your left via a path rising steadily to the old road which linked the Station from Doucy to Celliers and the Col de la Madeleine before the great landslide of 1997.
Once on this road, you will turn left and take it to return to the departure car park in Doucy station.
